NYC has so much to offer visitors and residents in the Summer, starting with Memorial Day weekend
When the beaches reopen for the season, one of the easiest to get to is Coney Island, where you can
enjoy a hotdog on the boardwalk, the new Luna Park with a ride on the Cyclone (one of the oldest wooden
roller coasters in the US) and on June 19. at 2PM see Lou Reed as King Neptune and Laurie Anderson as Queen Mermaid at the 8th Annual Mermaid Parade.
Free Music throughout the city’s many public spaces, here are a few of the Free Summer Concerts brought to you by 2 of the Morning News Shows, from 7-9AM, but if you want to be close to the stage, get there early.

June 31 “Grease” the Sing-Along as part of Movies under the Stars on the pier at Riverside Park South at 70th St
